Not only are they made from wool :p but they are officially the best tool for the more cack handed make up applicants among us.
I always keep a pack in my makeup case (yes case!) mainly for early morning mascara mishaps, just lick the end or put a dot of moisturiser on the end if you're fancy and wipe away the blobs. They also work for smudging eyeliner, getting crap out of your eyes and much more I'm sure. So my top tip is thus, treat yourself to a pack of cotton buds, they are dirt cheap and are absolutely essential.
